Stanley Tookie Williams
Executed for a crime he did not commit. Many say, “But he did kill some people.”
Tookie was a crimnal and co-started one of the most notorious street gangs but while in prison he did a lot to help keep children out of the gangs. He was nominated for the nobel peace prize and given an award by the president but still executed. Usually those executed are not the people who committed the crime.
